Wisdom not foolishness

Good Morning all. Once again here we are. This morning I asked God why can't people see, why can't they figure this all out. And once again my God answered me. He said my people don't realize that they have been called. He led me to to 1 Corinthians chapter 1. So let's take a look at what He has to say.- For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. (Those who don't believe or believe and don't follow they don't understand the reasons Christ followers do what they do.) For it is written: I will destroy the wisdom of the wise; the intelligence of the intelligent I will frustrate.(This is why they can't figure it all out. They are getting their wisdom from humans and not God.) Where is the wise person? Where is the teacher of the law? Where is the philosopher of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of the world? (He has shown us who the foolish are and yet we still believe in them and not Him.) For since in the wisdom of God the world through its wisdom did not know him. (We can look around and see the world does not know God, I mean really know God. I mean come on, people are actually thinking that Easter will be cancelled. No one can cancel Easter.) God was pleased through the foolishness of what was preached to save those who believe. (God is pleased when we recklessly abandon all that we see and hear and follow him. Who cares what we look like to the world.) Jews demand signs and Greeks look for wisdom, but we preach Christ crucified: a stumbling block to Jews and foolishness to Gentiles, but to those whom God has called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God. (See he has called, did you pick up the phone and answer it?) For the foolishness of God is wiser than human wisdom, and the weakness of God is stronger than human strength. (See so since he called you, why can't you just rely on Him to see you through what ever he has called you to do.) Brothers and sister, think of what you were when you were called. (I don't want to go back.) Not many of you were wise by human standards; not many were influential; not many were of noble birth. (See he is using those who by the world standards are lowly to call out those who think highly of themselves and put in high places to show them that they are not so wise.) But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong. God chose the lowly things of this world and the despised things and the things that are not to nullify the things that are, so that no one may boast before him. (See, see he called all of us. So if you think what can I do for God, look he called you. He really did call you, now pick up the phone and answer him.) It is because of him that you are in Christ Jesus, who has become for us wisdom from God-that is, our righteousness, holiness and redemption. Therefore, as it is written: Let the one who boasts boast in the Lord. For real guys and gals, God takes what the world throws away and uses it to show just who He is and what He can do. So please don't ever think that you are not good enough for God, he can and will use you. You don't have to be the CEO of the company for him to use you, you can be the beggar on the street and he will use you. Come as you are and let Jesus make the heart transplant. Have a blessed day!
