When we don't see

Good morning brothers and sisters. You know God keeps giving us lessons until we learn. We are no different than a baby. I guess that is why He compares us to them. We have to do repetition until we learn. He gives us signs and warnings. He tells us what our outcome is if we chose not to follow. He gives us a choice. But we still don't see. I listen to the news, different sources. Because I have learned there are two sides and both sides are going to tell their side. I listen to both sides and know that somewhere in the middle is the absolute truth. But as children of God, I can not fathom why we are still looking at human beings to save us. We know from history that they can not. We say, "when this one gets into office, or when that one gets into office, we will be better." Then we are real disappointed when it's not. When did we forget that we are children of God. It is our job to change and to show the world. In Luke chapter 12, Jesus, Himself, tells us to discern. Luke 12: 54-56. Remember written in red. 54- Then He also said to the multitudes, "Whenever you see a cloud rising out of the west, immediately you say, 'A shower is coming'; and so it is. 55- And when you see the south wind blow, you say, 'There will be hot weather,' and there is. 56- Hypocrites! You can discern the face of the sky and of the earth, but how is it you do not discern this time?" People still want to say that the Bible is ancient history or my favorite, it's a fairy tale to make people behave better. It does make me want to treat my fellow human beings better not to just go to my heavenly home but also it makes me feel better. And the world is much better when we do follow what Jesus has taught us. But how is it that we are just as blind as the Israelites of the New Testament. We can't see what is right in front of us. Jesus is calling on each of us to get up and move. Put aside the differences and teach the world of Jesus. The darkness is growing bolder but we are not! We see but we don't see. If it isn't personally bothering us right now, we say it won't come! But it will come! It is a slow fade and then overnight we wonder how we got here. Open your eyes. Open your hearts. Let the love of Jesus shine forth and lets get into battle. I know that I am the biggest one to wait. We do have to wait upon the Lord but He has already given us instructions. We are part of the body of Christ, lets do our part so that the body is well equipped. Have a blessed day! Rise up child of God, rise up!
