When the enemy doesn't stop!
Good morning brothers and sisters. I wrote about when God answers prayers yesterday. I also wrote that by me being faithful and obedient that God provides. But that doesn't stop the enemy from continuing to try. I am learning that the enemy most often attacks not because of what you are doing wrong, but what you are doing right. He can not allow what God has planned to come to the light. My scripture this morning reminds me of that. Isaiah 59:19- So shall they fear the name of the Lord from the west, and His glory from the rising of the sun; when the enemy comes in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against him. Now in my Bible, I have a dictionary and Hebrew and Greek translation in the back. The word standard is underlined in my Bible. So I turn to it and see what it means and the word from which it is translated. Standard in Hebrew is nuws, this has a symbol over the u but I don't know how to put it there. But the word means- to flit, i.e. vanish away, subside, escape; chase, impel, deliver; diminish, cause to flee away. put to flight, get away, hide, run away. lift up a standard. When the enemy comes rushing like a flood, I must stand in faith on the Rock of my salvation and not be moved. But while I am standing on the Rock, I must remember that my battle is not against people, they are just the tools. But my battle is spiritual. He is attacking me so I will not follow through on God's plan for me. I must wage this war with spiritual tools and not get into the battle because my feelings got hurt and I want to lash out. I must remember 2 Corinthians 10:3-4- 3- For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. 4- For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds,. See my weapons are praying, fasting, worshiping being obedient to my Lord and Savior. That is how I will fight my battles. Let's get into His word and fight the battle. Rise up child of God, rise up!
