When dreams disappear?

Good morning brothers and sisters. What a whirlwind of this thing we call life. Seriously, what do you do or how do you handle when your dreams disappear? Your first or at least mine is to respond. Sometimes it is shock and sometimes it is anger, sometimes we get mad at God. I know I have had that conversation with Him. "Lord, I thought this is the way that you wanted me to go. I thought that this was the plan." But do you see how many I's are in that sentence. And Jesus reminded me that "For My thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways My ways," says the Lord. "For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts." Isaiah 55:8-9. I can not see what tomorrow holds, so this is where my faith has to step in and know that whatever He has planned for us, He will accomplish it. Because a little further down it says this also, "For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven, and do not return there, but water the earth, and make it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower and bread to the eater, so shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; it shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it." Isaiah 55:10-11. Where God the Father sends me, I remain faithful and obedient, His will for my life will return back to Him prosperous. So, today, say with me, "Lord thy will be done." Those words are hard for humans to say because it leaves us where we don't always know the plan but we travel and live anyways. Today, I stand in victory, even if to the world it looks like failure, I will say what Joshua said. Joshua 24:15- "And if it seems evil to you to serve the Lord, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell. BUT AS FOR ME AND MY HOUSE, WE WILL SERVE THE LORD." Yes I know that is in all caps because that is what I am shouting. And at the end of this journey, I will be like the man in the parable and I will hear Jesus say, "His lord said to him, 'Well done good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord." Well done is all I want to hear. Have a blessed day and rise up children of God, rise up!
