What we MUST do

Good morning brothers and sisters. We are living in some uncertain times for us. But are they uncertain for our Lord and Savior, Jesus? The answer is a big fat NO! He knows what is going on and what is going to happen. But you know He does require things from us. He does want His children to behave in certain ways. He does have boundaries. He does have ways that we should live. And all of His ways are righteous. One of the things He requires is movement. We don't just get to sit around and wait. We don't get to keep the great news of Jesus to ourselves. Now in 2 Chronicles is something we must do first. 2 Chronicles 7:13-14. I am telling you if it was told to them, it can apply to us. 13- "When I shut up heaven and there is no rain, or command the locusts to devour the land, or send pestilence among My people, 14- IF My people who are called by My name will humble themselves and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land." God makes the Israelites a promise. He makes us a promise. But if you look, there is a requirement from us. We have to humble, seek, pray and then turn from our sin. That my friend is action. But we also have to do what is in Psalm 34:1-3. 1- I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall CONTINUALLY be in my mouth. 2- My soul shall make its boast in the Lord; the humble shall hear of it and be glad. 3- Oh, magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt His name together. I know that to some people my journey with the Lord looks radical. They think that I take the Bible too literal and too serious. Is there any other way? I believe every word that is in that Book. I believe that this Book was written for all of mankind for all generations. I just know how I live when I live in the Lord. Do I have doubt? Sure do! But I take it to the Lord. Do I have fear? Sure do! But I take it to the Lord. Do I worry? Sure do! But I take it to the Lord. Do I speak when I shouldn't? Sure do! But I take it to the Lord. See my point. I take everything to the Lord. And when the answer doesn't come, I wait. But I don't just sit, I still work! I still study. I still pray. I still seek Him. I still gather with other brothers and sisters. I seek guidance. But I wait on the Lord. The answer has always came in some form or fashion. I know that my journey right now is unity. He wants us all together in His name. We need to hand back to Him what is rightfully His. And watch Him move. He is calling us out for revival. It is time to wake the sleeping giant that is called by His name. Have a blessed day! Rise up children of God, rise up!
