What we are to do!
Good morning on this stormy morning. It may not be storming where you are but right now as I sit with Jesus it is storming. But afraid, I am not. Because like I said I am sitting with Jesus. As we, Jesus and I, were talking this morning, we were talking about His sheep. And He had me got to John 21:15-19, and He said "Do you love me?" And then I read this Scripture. 15- So when they had eaten breakfast, Jesus said to Simon Peter, "Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me?" He said to Him, "Yes, Lord; You know that I love You." He said to him, "Feed My lambs." 16- He said to him again a second time, "Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me?" He said to Him, "Yes, Lord; You know that I love You." He said to him, "Tend My sheep." 17- He said to him a third time, "Simon, son of Jonah, do you love me?" Peter grieved because He said to him a third time, "Do you love Me?" He said to him a third time, "Lord, You know all things: You know that I love You." Jesus said to him, "Feed My sheep. 18-Most assuredly I say to you, when you were younger, you girded yourself and walked where you wished; but when you are old, you will stretch out your hands, and another will gird you and carry you where you do not wish." 19- This He spoke signifying by what death he would glorify God. And when He had spoken this, He said to him, "FOLLOW ME!" Jesus told Peter to do some things. Jesus tells us to do some things if we love Him. He tells us to feed, tend, and feed again, and then follow. We are to feed the sheep and lambs. We do this because we love Jesus. We don't get to just sit back and wait for the glorious day of His return. It is our job to seek God and allow Him to put His words on our hearts and feed, tend and follow. We are not just to follow where Jesus goes, but also follow all the examples of how we are suppose to live. There is going to come a day when we will not be allowed to feed, tend and follow. So our mission is so much more the greater today than it has ever been. Come sit with us on Sunday morning, if you can't physically come, see us on Facebook. Still working out all the kinks. Facebook is real truth for Christ. Let's feed, tend and follow for the glory of the Lord. Have a blessed day and rise up children of God rise up!
