What's going on?

I have not been on here to write in 7 days. What is the significance of that? Well, I have been in prayer and seeking the Lord's guidance. Now it is complete. The number 7 in the Bible means complete. I have been saying that we as Christians need to rise up. Our voices need to be louder than that of evil but yet we still continue to sit silent. I turned to Psalm 77 "I cried out to God for help; I cried out to God to hear me. When I was in distress, I sought the Lord; at night I stretched out untiring hands and I would not be comforted." We cry out but do we seek the Lord. Do we do what the Lord ask of us? Do we live the way he ask us to live? Do we stand our ground that is firm in Jesus Christ or do we stay silent? Now I am not going to write all of Psalm 77 but I encourage each of you to go and read it. I am no longer going to sit behind a screen, today I am making the change where I live. "You kept my eyes from closing; I was too troubled to speak. I thought about the former days, the years of long ago; I remembered my songs in the night. My heart meditated and my spirit asked: Will the Lord reject forever: Will he never show his favor again: Has his unfailing love vanished forever? Has his promise failed for all time? Has God forgotten to be merciful? Has he in anger withheld his compassion?" The answer to this is NO! He has not. But he has allowed Satan to run amok. We as people have created all that is going on in the world. Hearts without God. We stopped teaching and preaching the truth and started teaching and preaching only what makes one feel good. In 2 Timothy, the Bible speaks of this time "In the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who will judge the living and the dead, and in view of his appearing and his kingdom, I GIVE YOU THIS CHARGE: PREACH THE WORD; be prepared in season and out of season:CORRECT, REBUKE AND ENCOURAGE-WITH GREAT PATIENCE AND CAREFUL INSTRUCTION. For the time will come when people will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around a GREAT number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear." No one listens to God any more. But why should to world listen, when we as we call ourselves can't even agree. We don't listen to God. We have put what God commands us to do on a check list and check it off week after week. I always go back to Matthew 25:14-30. I want to be the one that the Master says, "Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master's happiness!" That is what I want to hear at the end of this life. Because I also remember what it says in Matthew 7:21-23. "Not EVERYONE who says to me, Lord, Lord, will enter the kingdom of heaven, BUT ONLY THE ONE who does the will of the Father who is in heaven. MANY will say to me on that day, Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles? Then I will tell them plainly, "I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!" Which side are you on, welcome home or away from me? It is time to get our heats REALLY set on God and stop fighting among ourselves about what the Scripture means and let God tells us what scripture means. Have a blessed day and RISE UP!
