What must happen?
Good morning brothers and sisters. We all want the answers. Through prayer, I have to realize we will not have all the answers. We just have to be ready. And are we ready? Through much studying and through Godly men and women, I am learning what He wants from me. Sometimes it is simply a "no." But other it occasions it is to be bold. I have to trust the Holy Spirit that lives inside of me to know which. I also don't speak Jesus to everyone. Yes, you heard me right. I completely rely on the Holy Spirit for this one. He will tell this one or that one. God does not want me to waste my time on someone who is NEVER going to accept Him. And can I be real honest, that hurts me. I can't imagine no one not wanting Jesus. And I have come to also learn, I don't have to fight. If just the mention of His name, or something on my shirt offends you, I will tell you to look inward. That my friend, is conviction. That my friend, is the Jesus trying to get your attention. I will not be moved. I will not be silenced. I will stand firm on the Rock of Jesus Christ. And that brings me to renewing. We need to renew what we once had. Lets look at the instructions that was given in Hebrews 12: 12-17. 12- Therefore strengthen the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees, 13- and make straight paths for your feet, so that what is lame may not be dislocated, but rather healed. Healing is the cure! Lets raise hands to the Lord and not let them hang down. Lets get on our knees. Lets set the path of righteousness so we do not stumble and might I add for our next generation. 14- Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord; 15- looking carefully lest anyone fall short of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up cause trouble and by this many become defiled; 16- lest there be any fornicator or profane person like Esau, who for one morsel of food sold his birthright. 17- For you know that afterward, when he wanted to inherit the blessing, he was rejected for he found no place for repentance, though he sought it diligently with tears. We are to live in peace but that doesn't mean compromise. We are to be holy. It is a requirement. The reason is so we can see when evil comes our way. We don't want to be like Esau, selling for whatever comes our way. It is time for renewing, revival and rejoicing. I will say it again- it starts with YOU and ME! Rise up child of God, rise up!
