What is my example?
Good morning brothers and sisters. When my husband and I was working in the yard, I kinda snapped at him. I was frustrated with myself and he did something and I snapped at him. I had to go back and apologize because he didn't do anything. See what feelings can do. I instantly felt bad for snapping at him. I walked away and took a deep breath and then had to go to him and tell him that I was sorry. He didn't do a thing wrong, it was me. And I should have not snapped at him. It got me thinking about scripture. 2 Thessalonians 1:6-8. 6- And you became followers of us and of the Lord having received the word in much affliction, with joy of the Holy Spirit. See when we become followers of the Lord, we are suppose to change. 7- So that you became examples to all in Macedonia nd Achaia who believe. When I became a follower of Jesus, I became an example of Him living in me to all the world. So I better allow the Holy Spirit to guide me in my life. I never know who is watching. 8- For from you the word of the Lord has sounded forth, not only in Macedonia and Achaia, but also in every place. Your faith toward God has gone out, so that we do not need to say anything. When I am being a true example of Christ reigning in my life, I do not have to say a thing. My actions speak for themselves. We could talk until we are blue in the face and it would not matter if our actions did not match it. So who is watching you? Are you being an example of what it is to be a follower of Christ? Have a blessed day and rise up child of God, rise up!
