What if?

Good morning brothers and sisters. We all know that this world is in turmoil. This world does not want to know right from wrong. We want to let evil reign. We have hung our hats on the November election. But what if it is not God's plan? What if this is a taste of what is yet to come? What if? I was reading Lamentations and it pretty much answered what we must do and what God can do. Let's look Lamentations 3:40-42. 40- Let us search out and examine our ways, and turn back to the Lord. If you notice it starts with us. Each Christ follower should examine or really ask the Holy Spirit to examine all of our ways. And yes that includes our thoughts and definitely our mouths. 41- Let us lift our hearts and hands to God in heaven. Have we humbled ourselves and prayed? Have we just worshipped Him because of who He is and not what we want from Him? Have we taken back what we allowed Satan to take from us? And why should we do this, glad you asked. 42- We have transgressed and rebelled. You have not pardoned. The You in the last part is God. He allowed bad things and bad people to take Israel to humble them. If God did it then, why would we think He would not do it today. Is it because we are the United States of America? God is bigger! We need to do what we must to stop this evil and by that yes vote. But stop looking to these human beings for our deliverance. It is not in them who can save us, it is our Lord and Savior who will redeem and set things back on the right path. But what will you do if He decides not to pardon? Have a blessed day!
