What builds character

Good Morning brothers and sisters. What builds someone's character? Most will say that when they have gone through things then they build character. Did you know that concept is truly not all unbiblical. We all have to go through things. Sometimes we go through good things but to build character, most often it is something bad. God led me this morning to Romans 5:1-5. This is what it says: "Therefore, having been justified by FAITH, we have PEACE with God THROUGH our Lord Jesus Christ, THROUGH whom also we have access by faith into this GRACE in which we STAND, and REJOICE in HOPE of the GLORY of God. And not only that, but we also GLORY in TRIBULATIONS, knowing that tribulation PORDUCES PERSEVERANCE; and PERSEVERANCE, CHARACTER; AND CHARACTER, HOPE. Now HOPE does NOT disappoint, because the LOVE of God has been POURED out in our HEARTS by the Holy Spirit who was GIVEN to us." Emphasis is mine. But look at that. This is what builds character. And we are to give glory when we go through things, even if it is not your fault. We give glory to God. Because what the enemy makes for bad, if you are a Christ follower, God will turn it around for His glory. So if you are going through something, give glory to God. He will show what you that He is building His character for you in you. Have a blessed day and rise up children of God, rise up!
