What are some of our commandments?

Good morning brothers and sisters. I sat here wondering what does God require of us? What are some commandments that He gives us? Well everyone knows the 10 Commandments. And yes we are to do those things. But is that all there is? So I took a little bit of a dive in what Jesus also said. He didn't add or take away, He just took it a step further. But first let's take a look at some Old Testament scripture that still applies to us today. Isaiah 1:16-17: 16- Wash yourselves, make yourself clean; put away the evil of your doings before My eyes. CEASE to do evil, 17- LEARN to do good; SEEK justice. REBUKE the oppressor; DEFEND the fatherless, PLEAD for the widow. Now we know we cannot make ourselves clean so why does this scripture say it. It literally means to do all those in capital letters and you will be following God's commandments to us and will be made clean. But let's move on. The point to this blog today is to get you into Scripture and not just the most popular ones. Micah 6:8- He has shown you, O man, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you, but to do JUSTLY, to LOVE mercy, and to WALK humble with your God? Titus 2:11-15: 11- For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, 12- teaching us that, DENYING ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live SOBERLY, RIGHTEOUSLY, and GODLY in the present age, 13-LOOKING for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ. 14- Who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself His own special people, ZEALOUS for good works 15- SPEAK these things, EXHORT, and REBUKE with all authority. Let no one despise you. Guys what I want you to see is all the words that are capitalize. We can only do these things when we are living as one and living fully in Jesus Christ. It is by His Spirit that He shows us and gives us all these things. I promise you, if you ever give your life fully to Christ, you will never regret it. We will staying on this for a few days. Have a blessed day and rise up children of God, rise up!
