What a joy!
Good morning brothers and sisters. Today's devotion is very near to me as it should to all believers. Everyone and I mean everyone who so chooses the Lord, is welcomed. Jesus died for all. I am so thankful that I am not in charge of deciding who gets to be in God's kingdom and who doesn't. Because I know that I would not have made it. This scripture tells of when the Gentiles did not belong, but Christ, we now do. This also applies to those who are non-followers of Christ. Let's look. It gives us such hope when we feel like we don't belong. Ephesians 2: 11-13. 11- Therefore remember that you, once Gentiles in the flesh- who are called Uncircumcision by what is called the Circumcision made in the flesh by hands- 12- that at that time you were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world. 13- BUT NOW in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ. You notice at the end it says brought near. Everyone is brought near but to be covered under His blood, you must accept Him and follow Him. This is not by some man made rules and traditions, this is by the blood of Christ. Christ in us is what changes us. Remember, you belong to the King of the Most High. He has called you by name. Answer Him. Repent, refresh, revive. Rise up children of God, rise up!
