What a greeting!

Good morning brothers and sisters. Right now in this season, churches around the world are preaching on the Savior's birth. And it is the most wonderful event. I can't take nothing from it and I won't take nothing from it. It was because our Lord and Savior chose to give up His heavenly body for a time to take on the sins of the world, for all time. Not just the sins that people were committing His days, but our sins today. And I might add, they are not much different than our sins today. We just seem to see them different. But I want to look at a greeting from John to the world. Lets go to Revelation 1: 4-8.4- John, to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace to you and peace from Him who IS and who WAS and who is TO COME, and from the seven Spirits who are before His throne. 5- and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler over the kings of the earth. To Him who loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood, He has always been. He will always be. This greeting is coming from heaven. What a greeting! But this greeting also goes into a warning. So in verse 5, it doesn't take away from what Jesus was sent here to do. But also look Jesus is ruler over who thinks they are in control. I just wished they would listen to Him. 6- and has made us kings and priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen. And when we are washed in His blood, look what we are kings and priests. We are a royal priesthood that nothing on earth could compare to. So I will take my chances with Jesus Christ, my Lord and Savior. You can laugh. You can call it fairy tales. But there is absolutely no one who can tell me what happens when you die. So I will live for Jesus Christ. Now it tells us how Jesus will return and who will know. 7- Behold, He is coming with clouds, and every eye will see Him, even they who pierced Him. And all the the tribes of the earth will mourn because of Him. Even so, Amen. Everyone whether you live for Him or not, will know. Look at the warning also. The earth, the non-followers of Jesus will mourn. This part makes so sad. But I have to look inward and say, "Did I follow Jesus so close that the world could see Him?" That is on me. And the beautiful words of Jesus: 8- " I AM THE ALPHA AND THE OMEGA, THE BEGINNING AND THE END" SAYS THE LORD, " WHO IS AND WHO WAS AND WHO IS TO COME, THE ALMIGHTY!" He is the one that I follow. He is the one that I live for. He did for me what no human being could ever do. He does for me what no human can do. He will do for me what no human being will ever be able to do.
