We are!

Good morning brothers and sisters. I am so thankful that I am alive in Christ. There is no greater joy than being called His child. And as being His child, I should act like it. I know, I get it. It is down right hard some days and some days it is easy. And as I grow in Him the easy days are more. The hard days I am learning to seek Him first and have the correct response. 1 John 2:28-29 helps me with righteousness. 28- And now little children, abide in Him, that when He appears, we may have confidence and not be ashamed before Him at His coming. I don't know about you but that is not how I want my first sight of my Lord and Savior to be- ashamed. I want to rejoice at His coming and not run and hide. I want to step out and say, "Come and get me!" So to not be ashamed I have to do the next verse. 29- If you know that He is righteous, you know that everyone who practices righteousness is born of Him. He has righteousness and He gives it to me, I am to show righteousness, extend grace, extend mercy, and give forgiveness. I want to hear "Welcome home, good and faithful servant, welcome home!"
