Warning for leaders
Good morning brothers and sisters. When we lead and it doesn't matter if it is your home, small town, big city, state or a country, we have to lead for the good of all people. Now we know not everyone is going to be happy. Not everyone is going to get along. But when we lead we must have good morals and a good character. In Proverbs 28:16 it says: a ruler who lacks understanding is a great oppressor, but he who hates covetousness will prolong his days. We have seen in the last decade or so, leaders who decide things with their own pockets in mind. Not the will of the people as a whole. Now this scripture says when one does not have understanding, they are a great oppressor. What understanding and where do they get it? We only need to go back a few chapters and we will know. Proverbs 2: 1-6. 1- My son if you receive my words, and treasure my commands within you, 2- so that you incline your ear to wisdom and apply your heart to understanding; 3- Yes, if you cry out or discernment, and lift up your voice for understanding, 4- if you seek her as silver, and search for her as for hidden treasures; 5- THEN you will understand the fear of the Lord and find the knowledge of God. Now we see that honest and fair understanding and knowledge comes from the Lord. But if you don't believe me let's just read a little further. 6-For the Lord gives wisdom; from HIS mouth come knowledge and understanding. See from the Lord himself. But when you are covetous, you will seek your demise. We want leaders that are Godly, that starts in the home. We need to continue to lift up all leaders and ask God to remove what is not godly and show us the way. Because He is the only one that knows a person's heart because the tongue deceives. But in order to do that, we as His children must humble ourselves, we must REPENT, we must REFRESH, we must REVIVE! Rise up child of God, rise up!
