Walking in the Light

Good Morning all. As I sit here studying on God's truth and God's way and how to apply them to my life first and then show the world, God says "Walk in the Light." We live in a much divided world but this is talked about in God's world. Written in red, Luke 12:49-53. 49-" I came to send fire on the earth, and how I wish it were already kindled! 50- But I have a baptism to be baptized with, and how distressed I am till it is accomplished! 51- Do you suppose that I came to give peace on earth? I tell you, not at all, but rather division. 52- For from now on five in one house will be divided; three against two, and two against three. 53- Father will be divided against son and son against father, mother against daughter and daughter against mother, mother-in-law against daughter-in--law and daughter-in-law against mother-in-law." God has drawn the line in the sand. And then He lead me to Ephesians 5. I am going to start with verse 6. 6- "For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of the light 9-(for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness, righteousness, and truth), 10- finding out what is acceptable to the Lord. When we didn't follow Jesus, we lived in darkness and untruth. Sometimes we think we are following Jesus but we are really not. We are following the ways of man. And the only way to know the difference is to walk in the light. When we decided to give our all to Jesus, we are now in the light. We can see the darkness for what it is. We need to know what Jesus says is acceptable and what is not and live by that. 11- And have NO fellowship with the unfaithful works of darkness, but rather expose them. 12- For it is shameful even to speak of those things which are done by the in secret. 13- But all things that are exposed are made manifest by the light, for whatever makes manifest is light. God will expose all that He finds wrong. He will expose all liars, corruption and everything that is set up against Him. It will be brought to the light and we will know. And the last verse is a calling, a challenge to those of you who say that you follow Jesus Christ, that you are a Christian. 14- AWAKE, YOU WHO SLEEP, ARISE FROM THE DEAD, AND CHRIST WILL GIVE YOU LIGHT. We can only walk in the light when we are fully committed to Jesus Christ. We can only walk in the light when we are fully trusting the Holy Spirit to guide us. Do not stay in darkness any longer, Jesus is calling you to the light. Accept His invitation. You won't be sorry. It won't be easy, but you won't be sorry.
