Waiting

Good Morning all. Today in this day and time all people have to do is wait. Sometimes waiting is the hardest part for we really don't know what to do. I know one thing, we complain a lot when we have to wait. What is God teaching us in the waiting? I have seen it all over Facebook, all over Twitter and all over YouTube, when is God going to step in? Yes, we are beginning to open back up but not without resistance. But not everyone is going to be happy 100% of the time. And you will also have those that no matter what happens they are going to complain. But we keep praying, we keep fasting, we keep teaching, we keep studying. Then I got into Acts Chapter 1. This is where Jesus has already been crucified and now has returned for his 40 days of teaching the apostles. Starting with verse 4- "On one occasion, while he was eating with them, he gave them this command: Do not leave Jerusalem, but wait for the gift my Father promised, which you have heard me speak about. For John baptized with water, but in a few days you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit." Jesus puts heaviness of having the Holy Spirit. We must have the Holy Spirit living inside us. Jesus also says that it is a gift from God. Why do we not accept this gift? Do you know that it is free? "Then they gathered around him and asked him, Lord, are you at this time going to restore the kingdom of Israel?" They wanted to know if He was going to heal their land. Look at what it says. "He said to them: It is not for you to know the times or dates the Father has set by his own authority." God knows exactly what he is doing, God knows when, where, and what time. So what are we to do while we are waiting for the healing to come. Jesus answered that too. "But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and YOU WILL BE MY WITNESSES in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.? He is calling us to be witnesses. Witness to what? Witness to what He has done. He crucifixion, his death, his resurrection, where we were and were he has brought us. God will heal his people one way or another, God will heal this land one way or another. But we are to do our part. All throughout the Bible, He talks about living Jesus out loud. Get in God's word, get on our knees, and listen to what the Almighty God has to say. Have a blessed day. RISE UP!
