To all generations

Good morning brothers and sisters. My prayer today is that God is moving in everyone's life and doing some major construction on our lives. As I get older, I think of generations of the past and generations yet to come. I read in the Bible of history and lineage. I look at my own lineage and sit back in awe. God has always known that I would exist, God has always known that I would wake up and serve Him. He just waited on me to get there. Like, I have said a thousand times, I did not always serve Him. I have always believed but not always followed. But He led me to Psalm this morning. Psalm 71:17-18. "O God, You have taught me from my youth; and to this day I declare Your wondrous works. Now also when I am old and grayheaded, O God, do not forsake me, UNTIL I declare Your strength to this generation, Your power to everyone who is to come." Look at that. That is also every Christ followers mission- to declare all that Jesus is and how to get back to our Father. He did not want to leave this world UNTIL he had finished the mission that God put before every believer. And guys and gals, that is you and me. I don't want to be left standing when He returns and not have been working on the mission that He has placed for me to do, do you? Have a blessed day and rise up children of God, rise up!
