The time is now
Good morning brothers and sisters. Have you had something that your boss needed you to do? It is of the most importance. It has to be done right now. It can't wait. I know that I have. And usually it could have waited. But when Jesus calls you it can't wait. It has to be done right now. We all use excuses as to why we can't commit to Jesus right now. 2 Corinthians gives us a time and the time is right now. 2 Corinthians 6:1-2. 1- We then, as workers together with Him also plead with you not to receive the grace of God in vain. So what does that actually mean. Well to receive something in vain means to receive without real importance, it's useless, it's worthless. That is what the apostle is saying. God's grace is important but don't act like it has no value. 2-For He says: In an acceptable time, I have heard you. And in the day of salvation I have helped you. Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation. It was of importance then and it is of importance now. Why did he say it to them and it still applies to us? Because none of us know when our time is done on this earth. And when it is done, you can not accept Jesus. That is why the day of salvation is NOW! So if you have haven't accepted Him, today is the day. If you have just not been walking with Him in a long time, today is the day. And if you are walking with Him, today is the day to kindle that fire that He placed in you so long ago. Today is the day. Today is the day of salvation. Have a blessed day. Rise up child of God, rise up!
