Sometimes love, sometimes warning

Good morning brothers and sisters. You know I never know what I am going to write until I sit down and start to write. I pray over the writing that only what God needs for someone to hear or in this case read. I don't spend hours on end sitting at this computer trying to figure out what God is saying. Not in this. Yes, I study diligently but in this, I ask the Holy Spirit to take complete control. Well, not in just this but I hope you understand what I as saying. I want you to know everything it takes to walk and live a life of Christ, what it will cost you? Everything cost something. Some days God has me talk about the wonderful side of living for Him and somedays He needs to heed a warning. I am trusting and obeying the Holy Spirit as I sit here and write. Our scripture today comes from Isaiah. Now if you don't know, Isaiah is a prophet. He speaks of warnings and today is no different. Isaiah 10:1-4. 1- "Woe to those who decree unrighteous decrees, who write misfortune, which they have prescribed 2- to rob the needy of justice, and to take what is right from the poor of My people, that widows may be their prey, and that they may rob the fatherless. These first two verses deal with those in charge. He is calling them out. He is saying, "I see what you are doing to MY people." God knows. 3- What will you do in the day of punishment, and in desolation, which will come from afar? To whom will you flee for help? And where will you leave your glory? Now God speaks to the children. Look at those questions. Where do we turn? How will we handle things that are yet to come? Here is where I will insert my favorite saying, "Rise up, children of God, rise up." We must join in unity in Christ before it is too late and punishment and desolation sets in for us. It is coming. 4- Without Me they shall bow down among the prisoners, and they shall fall among the slain. For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still. God is asking, when all this comes without Me, without being connected to me, you will fall. You will do just as Peter did at the arrest of Jesus. You will deny. God is angry but with very righteous anger, the creation is denying the Creator. But and God says but, I am still holding off because My hand is still reaching out to you. Some days it is love and some days it is a warning. Have a blessed day and rise up children of God, rise up!
