Some of the fulfillment

Good morning brothers and sisters. Yesterday we looked at Jesus not abolishing the law but fulfilling it. I even dared to say that He took the law one step further. We all have all that we need to be righteous and holy, EVEN IN OUR FLESH! Yes, I said it. God reminds us to guard our hearts. We can not let evil into our hearts. Jesus even tells us in Matthew what murder looks like. Matthew 5:21-26. 21- You have heard that it was said of those of old, 'You shall not murder,' and whoever murders will be in danger of the judgment. Ok crime and punishment, something today that is unheard of. 22- But I say to you that whoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment. And whoever says to his brother, "Raca!" shall be in danger of the council. But whoever says, 'You fool!" shall be in danger of hell fire. Ok "Raca" means worthless, empty. And "fool" means one who has rebelled against God. See the difference. That is why the punishment is different. I will again say there is consequences for our actions and decisions. Where in this world did we forget that? There is no consequences for our own actions and decisions. 23- Therefore if you bring your gift to the altar, and there remember that your brother has something against you, 24- leave your gife there before the altar, and go your way. First, be reconciled to your brother and then come and offer your gift. This is teaching forgiveness. Notice it says if you know that your brother has something against you, go and correct it. Then come and offer your gift to God, who will reconcile you back to Him. 25- Agree with your adversary quickly while you are on the way with him, lest your adversary deliver you to the judge, the judge hand you over to the officer, and be thrown into prison. Work out your differences before you get to the judge. God does not want us bickering, He is teaching us to get along and be fair. Stop suing people for frivolous things. Start working it out. 26- Assuredly, I say to you, you will by no means get out of there, till you have paid the last penny. That is the earthly punishment for not fulfilling what you said you would. But if you can work it, WORK IT OUT! It is Biblical! And remember this all has to do with murder, not in just the sense of taking someone's life. But the very feeling of hatred is murder if you don't work it out! He is preparing us for something bigger, something greater. We need to wake up from our sleep, stretch out our bones and let's get moving. Have a blessed day! Rise up child of God, rise up!
