Seeing God in everything
Good Morning, I pray this day finds you blessed and refreshed in the Lord. As I was driving yesterday with my mom to go to work, God was really moving in that vehicle. We were discussing what we had learned that morning in our own private time with God. God was revealing His word to us and His will for our lives. And we were discussing it. When Romans 1:20 came to mind. "For since the creation of the world, His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse," We started looking around and we found God in everything and when I mean everything, I mean everything. The sun was shining so bright in our eyes and it made us realize that God allowed the sun to be bright so that we would understand a portion of His glory. Then I reached and put my sunglasses on and He spoke to me and said, Just like the world you put your blinders on so you can block the brilliance of My glory. You can't look at it and not be changed. And when I took my sunglasses off, all I could see was the sun. I couldn't see what was in front of me because the sun was so bright. But then my mama said, "That's faith. You can't see where you going, you can't see what obstacles are ahead but the glory of the Lord is shining on you and go ahead follow Him." This is the kind of life I want to lead. Not knowing where I am going, not knowing what is up ahead but knowing that God's glory is shining on me that I can keep putting one foot in front of the other and following Him. I want to keep that kind of faith, do you? Do you have that kind of faith? If you are called His child, then you should. Have a blessed day and rise up children of God, rise up!
