Good morning brothers and sisters. I start this day with a heavy heart for some of my brothers and sisters this week. I awoke to find that 3 people that I have known has now passed on. One was at the beginning of starting her adult life, one was in the middle of the journey of life and one had a full life. Three different stages in life. This was a reminder to me that we do not know when this physical life will be over and death calls our name. So as I went in prayer, I pray for three of these families as deal with the loss of their loved ones. And God sent me to several scriptures this morning. Psalm 34:18- The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart. And saves such as have a contrite spirit. Psalm 147:3- He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds. So this will be really short. If you are seeing this, please pray for these three different families as they go about with the plans of laying their loved ones to rest. Keep their brokenness in your prayers. We are called to stand in the gap for those that are broken. Heavenly Father, be with each and every person as they make their preparations for their loved ones. Give them the strength to go through their days. Give them the peace that only you can provide. Be near to their hearts as they face this journey because they are not alone. We ask all of this in Your Son's Holy Name, Jesus. And with the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Amen. Have a blessed day and rise up children of God, rise up!
