Psalm 131
Good morning brothers and sisters. I am so thankful that when we do mess up, we have a God who forgives. I can not believe that we are already at Psalm 131. Today I am adding another scripture to writing on my heart. How are you doing with writing scripture to your heart?
1- Lord, my heart is not haughty, nor my eyes lofty. Neither do I concern myself with great matters, not with things too profound for me.
2- Surely I have calmed and quieted my soul, like a weaned child with his mother like a weaned child is my soul within me.
3- O Israel, hope in the Lord from this time forth and forever.
God knew what I needed when I needed it. I am so thankful for these three short verses. But 3 hit me, it is a simple trust in the Lord. Simple trust! So I now I can do Psalm 117:1-2.
1- Praise the Lord all you Gentiles! Laud Him all you peoples!
2- For His merciful kindness toward us is great and the truth of the Lord endures forever. Praise the Lord!
Writing it on my heart reminds me every morning to start praising Him and throughout the day. It helps me when I am in trouble, or when someone else needs something. I am so thankful that the Lord has led me to this and that I understand it. And yes, I still mess up! Have a blessed day and rise up child of God, rise up!
