Our call!

Good morning brothers and sisters. I have already expressed that this Easter hit me different. I have already expressed my desires. These desires will be fulfilled because they are what we are called to do. We have been looking at Paul. If you don't know about Paul, I urge you go and read how he became a Christ-follower. We are all Paul. Now I want to look at how we are called to be children of the Most High. How we are to be Christ-like. Paul explains it beautifully. I would desire for all to become one united under Christ. Galatians 11:17. 11- But I make known to you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached by me is not according to man. That should always be our prayer. We are not teaching man's way but Jesus Christ. He is the one that came to save. He is the one that died on that cross for you and me. NOT MAN! 12- For I neither received it from man nor was I taught it, but it came through the revelation Jesus Christ. This is where we understand the words of God-through Jesus Christ and the wonderful Promise of the Holy Spirit. NOT MAN! 13- For you have heard of my former conduct in Judaism, how I persecuted the church of God beyond measure and tried to destroy it. Now Paul did that!! Do we do that when we try to teach what we believe instead of what Jesus taught? 14- And I advanced in Judaism beyond many of my contemporaries in my own nation, being more exceedingly zealous for the traditions of my fathers. See, Paul even states that following the traditions led to persecution and death for some of God's children. I know religion has hurt many people but Jesus has not. 15- But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother's womb and called me through His grace, 16- to reveal His Son in me, that I might preach Him among the Gentiles, I did not immediately confer with flesh and blood, 17- nor did I go up to Jerusalem to those who were apostles before me; but I went to Arabia, and returned to Damascus. And when the time was right, Jesus stepped in and change Saul to Paul. He got a new name. He got a new mission. Let's lay it all down and pick up of the cross of Jesus and get moving. It is only getting worse day by day. Where are you men and women of courage? Where are you children of God? I want our voices so loud and so united in Christ, that they have to pay attention. Rise up child of God, rise up!
