Not God but us

Good morning brothers and sisters. Have you ever had something to put together? Well most of the time that something came with instructions. Are you one of those people who read the instructions? Or do you throw the instructions aside and just get to work? Do you make sure you have everything for the task? Or do you just dive right in and get what you need as you need it? Well did you know that being a Christ follower is like that? God gave us the instructions and all that we needed to complete the task. What do we do with it? Do we read it or throw it to the side? He gave it all and we don't use the instruction manual. So we complain when we can not feel God. We complain when we cannot hear God. Isaiah gives us a pretty good description of why this happens. Isaiah 59:1-2. Oh there is more but we will start there and see where the Lord takes us. 1- Behold, the Lord's hand is not shortened that it cannot save, nor His ear heavy that it cannot hear. The Lord can hear me in small town America at the same time He is hearing someone in China, He can hear and take care of two different people at the same time at different ends of the world. So that is not the problem. So what is the problem? 2- BUT your iniquities have separated you from your God and your sins have hidden His face from you, so that He will not hear. Oh that is the problem. The problem is ME! I choose my sin over God. But are we on this path forever. The most greatest news is NO! We are not. We have to turn back to God. We have to seek His face. We have to live by His law. We need to pray. We need to confess. We need to, we need to, we need to. Live in the light! But how? Talk to the Lord God and He will make your path righteous. He will tell what to do. The answer is very simple but the path is hard. The simple turn to God! The hard is doing it. So have you thrown the instruction manual away? Are you waiting for someone to explain it to? You have Jesus, He can explain all that needs to be explained. Have a blessed day! Rise up child of God, rise up!
