Not for the world
Good morning brothers and sisters. Sorry it has been 5 days since the last post but our lives are falling apart. Well, in the world's view our lives are falling apart but in God's view it is coming into plan. So we are choosing to find our faith and hope in the Lord. But over the last 5 days, I have learned something. The Bible is not written for the world, the Bible is written for those who are fully committed to Jesus Christ. The Bible is written for us to live holy and Godly lives and when we do that to the fullest extent then the world sees Jesus. 1 Thessalonians 2:13- For this reason we also thank God without ceasing, because when you received the word of God which you heard from us, you welcomed it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which also EFFECTIVELY works in you who believe. I, personally, hold those who call themselves Christians to a different standard than I hold the world. Because we are suppose to live, breath the word of God. Not what we think it means but what it means. I wonder sometimes has so many interpretations made us in ineffective? One religion believes this , one religion believes that, what is one to believe? For one to truly understand what it means to be a Christian, one must study God's word, not simply read it as a check off. Hebrews 4:12- For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. When we truly study, the word of God becomes alive in us. When we allow the Holy Spirit to lead us, we become truly aware of our faults. We seek the Lord, Jesus Christ, to forgive us and to intercede for us. And we strive not to do it again. We must remember what the word of God is for. 2 Timothy 3:16-17. All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work. This Bible is for His children, not those who reject Him. The Bible trains us in all that God has commanded. Pick it up, study it and apply it. Rise up child of God, rise up!
