No matter what, be steadfast!
Good morning brothers and sisters. Now you know the week that I have had. Now I don't give Satan too much credit because some of this just happens. But I do think that when one thing gets us down, he likes to add more. And this morning, what I read gave me peace and hope. You know that is what God's word is for. 2 Peter 3:14-18. 14- Therefore, beloved, looking forward to these things, BE DILIGENT to be found by Him in peace, without spot and blameless; 15- and consider that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation- as also our beloved brother Paul, according to the wisdom giving to him, has written to you, 16- as also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things, in which are some things hard to understand, which UNTAUGHT and UNSTABLE people twist to their own destruction, as they do also the rest of the Scriptures. 17- YOU therefore, BELOVED, since you know this beforehand, BEWARE lest you also fall from your own steadfastness, being led away with the error of the wicked; 18- but GROW in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. TO HIM BE THE GLORY BOTH NOW AND FOREVER. AMEN. Now this scripture really has nothing to do with what was going on in my life this past week. Really, it doesn't. But as I prayed to the Lord for the knowledge and wisdom on how to get it all fixed, He provided. I was steadfast in giving Him everything that was going on and in return He gave the steadfastness and the knowledge. He is the Leader and I am the follower. I just wanted to show that Jesus cares about everything. Nothing is too small or too great for Him to help you! And when we are steadfast in the trials of this life, He will guide us on the straight and narrow path. We will not detour from it. We will stumble on it but will not detour. I can't listen to the world, I have to listen to that still, small voice that beckons me. I thank You, Lord Jesus Christ for all that you have done and will continue to do. Repent, refresh, revive! Rise up child of God, rise up!
