Loving My Judas

Good morning brothers and sisters. While I was working on preparing for what lies ahead for our family, God hit me over the head with something. I want you to love your Judas. Now if you don't know what a Judas is, let me tell you. Judas is the man who betrayed Jesus. Jesus did not cast him out. Jesus sat down and ate bread with him. Jesus did call him out but did not say his name to whole group. Because Jesus needed Judas to do what Judas did. Have we ever stopped and thought that maybe that person is doing to you so that things can be exposed and your relationship with Jesus Christ grows stronger. And this morning when I opened up my Bible to study the word of God, oh wow, is all I can say. James 1:19- So then, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath, for the wrath of man does not produce the righteousness of God. If I don't love my Judas, then I can't truly love my Jesus. Jesus loves my Judas. And maybe just maybe if I love my Judas, then my Judas will love Jesus. See it is not about what has been done but what God can do. I have to lay it down and let God pick it up. I am going to with all that is within and with the help of Jesus, love my Judas. Rise up child of God, rise up!
