Looking for Joy

Good morning brothers and sisters. Where do you find joy? We can find happiness through the world but joy is a different story. Where do you find full joy? The answer is only in the Lord. When you have joy, nothing, and I mean nothing can still it. Happiness can go away. I had pure joy yesterday. God saw fit for me to have all my grandbabies at one time. Now don't get me wrong it is tiresome but it was pure joy seeing those babies play, laugh and not have a care in the world. Seeing them enjoy one another and just living was what I wanted. Yes as an adult I have things that I must do that they do not. But the joy that they have is what we seek in our Lord. Don't believe me. John 15. 9- As the Father loved Me, I also have loved you; abide in My love. 10- If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father's commandments and abide in His love. You know Jesus does talk a lot about love. We are to love like the Father loves Him and He loves us. I know it is hard. But let's keep reading because I could go on and on about the love of Jesus. 11- These things I have spoken to you. that MY JOY may REMAIN in you, and that YOUR JOY may be FULL. See if we want joy that no one can take away, we must remain in Jesus and He will fill that joy to the fullness. I have joy. I have to fill my cup with the joy that Jesus provides so that others may have joy. Also when we are filled with the joy of Jesus, we have HOPE! What looks like a loss to the world, maybe a gain actually in Jesus. So today ask Jesus to fill your cup with joy. Have a blessed day! Rise up child of God, rise up!
