Life moments on little activities

Good Morning brothers and sisters. I had a wonderful Jesus moment yesterday. As you grow in Jesus you will start seeing Him in everyday things. So as it was, my granddaughter was crawling around on the floor and for some strange reason she loves the dog bowls. I don't know what draws her to them but she will go to them everyday. We always tell her no and redirect to the things that she can play with. Some have said for us to just pick them up and I always respond with what about the dangers that I can't pick up. God nudged me and said she likes it because it is a "no". And then God being God, that is like My children. I went to the Bible and this is the verse that God wanted me to see. Proverbs 26:11- As a dog returns to his own vomit, so a fool repeats his folly. We always go back to what is not good for us. See I want to teach my granddaughter there are things that will harm you and that is why we say no. God is wanting to teach us the same lesson. He doesn't want us to return to where we once was. He is trying to protect us from the evil that will harm us. Today, I am applying what I am teaching my granddaughter to my life. When God says "no", I will not go back.
