Life lessons

Good Morning gracious Heavenly Father, we come to you today to learn. To learn how to put your lessons to our lives. I will follow you all the days of my life. When things are good, I will praise you. When things are bad, I will praise you even more. Open our hearts, our ears and our minds. Lets start a revival of Christians led by Christ that no man has ever seen before. In Jesus name, Amen. Proverbs 1:8-19. Listen, my son, to your father's instruction and do not forsake your mother's teaching. They are a garland to grace your head and a chain to adorn your neck. My son, if sinful men entice you, do not give in to them. If they say,"Come along with us; let's lie in wait for innocent blood, let's ambush some harmless soul; let's swallow them alive, like the grave, and whole, like those who go down to the pit; we will get all sorts of valuable things and fill our houses with plunder; cast lots with us; we will all share the loot"- my son, do not go along with them, do not set foot on their paths; for their feet rush into evil, they are swift to shed blood. How useless to spread a net where every bird can see it! These men lie in wait for their own blood; they ambush only themselves! Such are the paths of all who go after ill-gotten gain; it takes away the life of those who get it. Here wisdom is calling on parents to correct and teach their children. Also children listen what the parent is trying to tell you. As parents we will usually teach the lessons that we have already learned. It also goes on to show us that someone will come and try to entice your child in the ways of the world, show them the wrong path.If this was predicted in Proverbs, which was written so long ago, why oh why do we not listen. It is our jobs to set them on a solid foundation. We are to bring our children up in Christ, not in a religion. So make sure that you are right with Christ so then you can instruct your children on the ways of Christ. Have a blessed day!!!!
