Knowing!

Good morning brothers and sisters. This morning I was reading about the adulteress in John. Do you know that lesson? It taught me something this morning. It taught me to be able to rightfully divide God's children with the world, I need to have God's word inside of me. Also as I learn God's word not to be haughty or holier than thou. When I teach, teach with compassion, teach with love. Draw a line in the sand and let people decide. We are to discern the spirit of people. Jesus warns us throughout the entire Bible that deceivers will come and are already here. Jesus also warns to test everyone. I want you to test what I write in comparison with God's word. I want to go through the refiner's fire. I want to be sifted. These are the things that make me draw nearer to Jesus. These are the things that make me walk in the light. These are things that make me want to have my house in order so I can therefore help others. These are the things that make me NOT a hypocrite. Let's look. John 8:1-12. 1- But Jesus went to the Mount of Olives. 2- Now early in the morning He came again into the temple, and all the people came to Him; and He sat down and taught them. 3- Then the scribes and Pharisees brought to Him a woman caught in adultery. And when they had set her in the midst, 4- they said to Him, "Teacher, this woman was caught in adultery, in the very act. 5- Now Moses, in the law, commanded us that such should be stones. But what do You say?" 6- This they said, testing Him, that they might have something of which to accuse Him. But Jesus stooped down and wrote on the ground with His finger, as though He did not hear. 7- So when they continued asking Him, He raised Himself up and said to them, "He who is without sin among you, let him throw a stone at her first." 8- And again He stooped down and wrote on the ground. 9- Then those who heard it, being convicted by their conscience, went out one by one, beginning with the oldest even to the last. And Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst. 10- When Jesus had raised Himself up and saw no one but the woman, He said to her, "Woman, where are those accusers of yours? Has no one condemned you?" 11- She said, "No one, Lord." And Jesus said to her, (Now look at what Jesus says to her, this is the part that I think we forget. We leave it out intentionally.) "Neither do I condemn you, GO AND SIN NO MORE!" When Jesus pardons, we stop doing what He pardon us of. Life should not ever be the same. 12- Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, "I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life." See Jesus was going to allow the crowd to judge her but first you must take care of yourself. And if you are forgiven, you would not have wanted to stone her to begin with. You would have loved her through it and helped her to sin no more. That is our job. I am just a nobody. But I want everyone to hear what Jesus has done for me and can do for you. Rise up child of God, rise up!
