Keep on keeping on
Good Morning, guys how are you doing on discipline? Me, pretty good. I am continually growing my faith and strength in Christ Jesus our Lord. Learning to walk closer to Him and learning what it means to walk so closely with Jesus that the only thing people see is Him. In this world and working with the public, I promise you some days are a little more challenging than others. But I keep asking the Lord to help me see others as he sees them. So it leads me today to Hebrews 13. "Keep on loving one another as brothers and sisters. Do not forget to show hospitality to strangers, for by doing so some people have shown hospitality to angels without knowing it. (Catch that). Continue to remember those in prison, and those who are mistreated as if you yourselves were suffering. (Guys there are Christians dying for God's Word). Marriage should be honored by ALL, and the marriage bed kept pure, for God will judge the adulterer and all sexually immoral. (Self explained, if not then you must not being doing it). Keep your lives free from the love of money and be CONTENT with what you have, because God has said, 'Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.' (God wants us to have joy no matter what. He didn't leave us in this chaos. I know that he will turn something good out of all of this.) So we say with confidence, 'The Lord is MY helper, I WILL NOT be afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?' Remember your leaders, who spoke the word of God to you. Consider the outcome of their way of life and imitate their faith.(Look to your Pastors, if their life is not imitating Christ then pray. We have to pray for our pastors that are on the right path who are not afraid to speak God's Word in whole truth.) Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever. ( This is my favorite). This says the same Jesus that died for you, is the same Jesus that is carrying you through. So today continue on disciplining yourselves and LOVE even when it is hard to love. Get in the word. If we were all in the Word of God, we will all be imitating Jesus and we will come out of this victorious. Sharpen your sword and be ready for battle. Have a blessed day!
