Just ask!
Good morning brothers and sisters. Some have asked, what do I pray to ask Jesus to come. Let me first be very clear, there is no magic prayer to say to ask Jesus to come into your life. While it is true that Jesus gave us an example of how we should pray, if you don't pray it, it doesn't disqualify you. But I will put this prayer in here to give you a guide. But the answer is quite simple. "Jesus, I need you. I need you in my life! Please help me." And if it is with a sincere heart, Jesus is right there waiting to answer. Jeremiah 29:12-13. 12- Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. 13- And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart. See, it's really not the words, it's the heart. Living for Jesus has to do with the heart. The heart wants to do what we want but when a heart is transformed by Jesus, the heart does what Jesus wants. And it is a beautiful thing. Now for that guide of a prayer. Matthew 6:9-13. In this manner, therefore, pray: Our Father in heaven, hallowed be Your name. 10- Your kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. 11- Give us this day our daily bread. 12- And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. 13- And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen. See that is a guide, not just to pray to be thankful. It reminds us to just think about the day, right now. Do not worry about tomorrow nor worry about yesterday. One hasn't happened yet and the other is already gone. Neither can be changed in the present. So, if you are struggling on what to pray, my advice, just talk to Him like you were His best friends. He is waiting for you to answer the knock on the door. He is waiting to be invited in. Don't worry about what He is or isn't going to change. Don't worry about what you have said or done because that was yesterday. Because remember His mercies are new everyday. Lamentations 3:22-23. 22- Through the Lord's mercies we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not. 23- They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness. Repent, refresh, revive. Rise up children of God, rise up!
