If our trust

Good morning brothers and sisters. I hope this day finds you blessed and trusting in the Lord. The one thing that I know without a shadow of doubt is that I trust the Lord. I know that His plan is always better than mine, even when I don't understand. Jesus tells us in Matthew not to worry. If you truly belong to our Lord and Savior, we do not have to worry. Matthew 6:25-29. 25-"Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing? 26- Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? Now I am going to stop for one second. It tells not to worry about these things. But it does not tell us not to work to get these things. Working is part of the plan. 27- Which of you by worrying can add one cubic to this stature? 28- So why do you worry about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they neither toil nor spin; 29- and yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. God's creature better than anything man could think of. There is nothing really on this whole entire earth that should have us worrying. We need to be trusting. Proverbs 3:5-6 says it best. 5- Trust in the lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; 6- In ALL your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths. Let's stop worrying and start trusting. Let's start doing the work that the Lord has set out before us. Let's break the chains that bind us and come together under His mighty protection.
