I was!

Good morning brothers and sisters. I can't believe how much Jesus has done for us in these 4 weeks. My faith and trust in the Lord went from a mustard seed to a mountain. Watching God put things in place is nothing short of a miracle. He knew all along what He was going to do, He was just waiting on me to learn each lesson before I took another step. I will be perfectly honest, this has been no easy journey but I would not take nothing for it. Because of what it has done for me, spiritually. This morning as I was thanking Jesus for so many blessings that I don't deserve, He reminded me that I was once lost. I once didn't trust Him like I should or not at all. It was just words out of my mouth. We all know the parable of the lost sheep, the lost coin and the prodigal son. Something was lost and then it was found. Jesus yearns to bring His children into the fold. He yearns to call them His children. I have to be reminded that I was the lost sheep and Jesus left the 99 to come after me. He sent people to speak to me. He sent worship songs. He put a calling on my heart. He teaches me His word. He did all of that so I could be called a Child of God. We need to be the example so the one can find Jesus. Let's look at the words of Jesus speaking to the Pharisees and all the so called important people. We must remember that they had set so many rules that no one, according to them, could be saved. But Jesus changed it all. Luke 15:1-7. Then all the tax collectors and the sinners drew near to Him to hear Him. And the Pharisees and scribes COMPLAINED, saying, "This Man receives sinners and eats with them." So He spoke this parable to them, saying: "What man of you, having a hundred sheep, if he loses one of them, does not leave the ninety-nine in the wilderness, and go after the one which is lost until he finds it? And when he has found it, he lays it on his shoulders, rejoicing. And when he comes home, he calls together his friends and neighbors, saying to them, 'Rejoice with me, for I have found my sheep which was lost.!' I say to you that likewise there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine just persons who need no repentance." They were complaining that Jesus went to the "sinner". Next time you think a negative thought about someone, remember maybe they are the one that Jesus wants you to minister to. We are in the fold, we are safe in His arms. He wants us to show others how to be His child. I stay humble by remembering that Jesus left the 99 in search of me. I need to be the example, so the one can come to the 99. Rise up child of God, rise up!
