How do you hear?

Good morning brothers and sisters. I recently got asked, "How do you hear the Holy Spirit?" When we live in the world, we don't. It's not that He don't talk to us, we don't listen. We live for us and us alone so that voice gets hushed by all the desires and other voices. But once you have decided to follow Jesus fully, then you learn to hear Him. I know for me when I truly came back to the Lord for good and forever, it was a voice that I barely understood. And as I mature in Christ, that voice becomes louder and louder. As I learn to do what Jesus says in Mark 8:34- When He had called the people to Himself with His disciples also, He said to the, "Whoever desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me." The more I deny myself, the more I desire Christ. Yes, it truly works like that. And the louder the Holy Spirit can talk to us and guide. Remember Jesus Himself, told us the Holy Spirit is our Helper. John 14:15-18. 15- If you love Me, keep My commandments, 16- and I will pray the Father and He will give you another Helper that He may ABIDE WITH YOU FOREVER, 17- the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him for HE DWELLS WITH YOU AND WILL BE IN YOU. 18- I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you. Those are Jesus' words. And He did send the Holy Spirit. And we are also warned not to refuse Him- the Holy Spirit. Hebrews 12:25- See that you do not refuse Him who speaks. For if they did not escape who refused Him who spoke on earth, much more shall we not escape if we turn away from Him who speaks from heaven,. Guys, girls, if you hear Him today, do not turn away and wait until you get it together. He will get it together for you. He will take what is not good and make you whole. We can't do it for ourselves. We take out the wrong parts. Trust Him! Repent, refresh and revive. Rise up child of God, rise up!
