He is my Rock!

Good morning brothers and sisters. For every Christian, Jesus is our foundation. He is our cornerstone on which we are built. I know that I don't understand all the different religions, especially those in Christianity. I, for the life of me, do not understand why we have so many. We shouldn't because they all should be built on Jesus and nothing else. I guess somewhere along the way, people disagreed on what a scripture meant and they went their own way. I can not fathom that this is how Jesus wanted it. I understand those who fully trust in Jesus and those who don't. I get that. What I don't get is why we don't believe Ephesians 2;19-22. I also get we have different preferences but those should not divide us. Let's take a look at these scriptures and you tell me if I am understanding it wrong. Maybe I am, maybe I am not. But lets look at it with Jesus' eyes and see what He tells us. Because He is not divided. 19- Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, now hold on. I don't see in that scripture where it says that I am member of a religion but a member of the household of God. That is all that matters but let's continue one. 20- having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone, I think that says that Jesus is in charge of all of us, not the religion that we belong to. I believe it is the Kingdom of God. 21- in whom the whole building being fitted together, grows into a holy temple of the Lord, I think this is saying Christianity as a whole is fitted together with Jesus as the Head. 22- in whom you also are being built together for a dwelling place of God in the Spirit. This is speaking of personal relationships. I don't know. You tell me. Should there be all these different religions or should we stand together as one? Am I reading this scripture wrong? Repent, refresh, revive. Rise up children of God, rise up!
