Freedom

Good morning brothers and sisters. As I was studying and praying, I had a thought. My freedom is not free. Soldiers and people before me fought and died for my physical freedom and Jesus Christ fought and died for my spiritual freedom. Neither of these should be taken for granted. I don't think I appreciate either as much as I should. As I thought about this, once again scripture is brought to mind. 1 Corinthians 7:23-24. 23- You were bought at a price, DO NOT become slaves of men. This is my emphasize not the Bible. Both our physical and spiritual was bought at a price and that price is DEATH! Men and women had to die for our physical freedom and if it is taken away then those men and women died in vain. Jesus Christ died for our spiritual freedom and if it is taken away then Jesus died in vain. Here we are warned not to become slaves to men again. There are freedoms that Jesus Christ gave to us and no man can take them away. 24- Brethren, let each one remain with God in that state in which he was called. Whatever God has called you for, do it. Whoever called God has called you to, do it. Do not be shaken. Our foundation begins and ends with Christ. Those men and women who died for physical freedom, died because God called them to it. Do not move! Whatever it is God is calling you to do, remember if He calls you to it, He will source you through it. He will provide all that is needed for the task at hand, all you have to do is use it and do it. Have a blessed day and rise up child of God, rise up!
