Favoritism, don't do!

Good morning brothers and sisters. This morning is when most Christ followers chose to go to corporate worship. This is the day when we gather with the saints, I think. But is the church full of clicks? Do certain people only come together with certain people? Do you look down on others? My beloved, that is not what should be happening. We are all God's children no matter what the social standing you think they are in. Don't believe me. Lets go to James chapter 2. I don't really know how much God wants right now but I will type until He says it is done. 1- My brethren, do not hold faith of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Lord of glory, with partiality. 2- For if there should come into your assembly a man with gold rings, in fine apparel, and there should also come in a poor man in filthy clothes, 3- and you pay attention to the one wearing the fine clothes and say to him, "You sit here in a good place," and say to the poor man, "You stand there," or "Sit here at my footstool.", 4- have you not shown partiality among yourselves, and become judges with evil thoughts? Ok I am just going to stop for a moment and look at this. Do we actually do this? Do we pick one person over another just by their social standing or their money? I really hope we don't. But I do live in reality and WE DO! 5- Listen, my beloved brethren: Has God not chosen the poor of this world to be rich in faith and heirs of the kingdom which He promised to those who love Him? See God chooses the unwise by society to teach the wise. He chooses the poor over the rich most days .Why? Because the poor is humble and do not think too highly of themselves. Now it is not a sin to be rich if you are doing what is right with the riches that God gave you. And a rich man can be a Godly man. But 9 times out of 10 the rich look down upon the poor. That is just my perspective. I urge to go on and finish reading that because it has a strong message for those who do this. I am just going to jump to verse 13- For judgment is without mercy to the one who has shown no mercy. Mercy triumphs over judgment. Have a blessed day. Rise up child of God, rise up!
