Doing the work

Good morning brothers and sisters. As I am doing the cleaning up, a movie comes to mind. Well, actually just a line in the movie. The movie is Field of Dreams and the line is "If you build it, they will come." And the Holy Spirit it me pretty hard with it. At first I didn't understand but now I do. I do the work that God has set out for me and the ones who are truly seeking the Lord will come. And when I opened to study this morning I went to 2 Corinthians 6:1-2. 1- We then as workers together with Him also plead with you not to receive the grace of God in vain. When we receive Christ, the old is gone and the new is in the making. But when we don't do what Christ has set forth for us and we keep it to ourselves, we do it in vain. What Christ did, is doing and is going to do is not to be a secret, it is for the world. 2- For He says: "In an acceptable time, I have heard you. And in the day of salvation, I have helped you." Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation. The world needs Jesus. I need Jesus. We don't need religion, we need Jesus. I do not want to sit like a bump on the log and not do what God has prepared me for. Now is the time and the time is drawing nearer. So I am still doing the work because the one that needs to hear about Jesus will come and their salvation is now. There will come a day when we can't and I want everyone that choses the Lord. Are you doing the work that God has set forth for you or are you still waiting? Get up and do the work, and watch God do some amazing work in your life.
