Doing not just hearing

Good Morning all. I asked yesterday were you dead or alive, hot or cold. God clearly tells us what He wants from His children. Are we doing what He is calling us to do or are we just hearing it and proclaiming and not doing it? Guys, as I write these blogs, these insights, these lessons, they are meant for you to grow in Christ. They are meant to be personal. We have to move or we are going to get bull dozed over. If you are my friend on Facebook then let's start posting salvation issues, what we are doing in our communities to start the revival God is so wanting us to have. Today in James 1:21-27 God tells us what he is wanting. Let's take a look; "Therefore lay aside all filthiness and overflow of wickedness and receive with meekness the implanted word, which is able to save your souls. But be doers of the word and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. For if any is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror; for he observes himself, goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was. But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a does of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does. If anyone among you thinks he is religious, and does not bridle his tongue but deceives his own heart, this one's religion is useless. Pure and undefiled religion before God and the Father is this: TO VISIT orphans and widows in their trouble AND TO KEEP ONESELF UNSPOTTED FROM THE WORLD." Yes we are in this world but we must remain faithful to God and not let the world drag us away. We can not like what someone does but still love them. We need to get to moving. We need to stand up. We need to preach the GREAT word of God. But first we must have the word of God in us. Get out your Bibles, get with a group and start reading the word. Have a blessed day! RISE UP!
