Do you think you don't have a calling?
Good Morning all. I hope this day finds you blessed and your cup of joy is running over. I have heard time and time again someone tell me that "God, can't use me. You just don't know where I have been." The most amazing thing about God is He doesn't care where you have been, He cares where you are right now. He doesn't measure the way mankind measures. He sees the gem inside and wants to make it shine. So as I was reading I was lead to this scripture. 1 Corinthians 1:26-31. By the way I am back and will be posting more and doing more videos. So let's look at this. 26-For you see your calling, brethren, that not many wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called. Look at who is not too often called. Not the wise in the eyes of the flesh. 27- But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty, now look at who He does call. The things that mankind call foolish and weak, God sees as strong and noble. I think that I would listen to the Creator of the world than to mankind, what about you? 28- and the base things of the world and the things which are despised God has chosen, and the things which are not, to bring the things that are, 29- that no flesh should glory in His presence. 30- But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God- and righteousness and sanctification and redemption- 31- that, as it is written, "He who glories, let him glory in the Lord." See when you live in Christ Jesus and you allow the Holy Spirit to guide you and tell you how to live, then you have the wisdom and knowledge. You don't see like others see. You don't walk like others walk. You are new and the old is gone. So if today you feel like because of where you have been keeps you from your calling, then think again. God can and will use where you have been to glorify His Kingdom, which you are a part of. Have a blessed day! Rise up Child of God, especially now, Rise up!
