Good morning brothers and sisters. It has recently been brought to my attention that it seems that I am harsh on Christ followers. And to which I replied, that I am. The reason is that we claim to be saved, we claim to love the Lord. We claim we follow the Lord. The real question is do we? This person said that I make them question their Christianity. To which I replied, I don't make you question, I put questions out there but the Holy Spirit is questioning your walk with Christ. If you are feeling some sort of way, I beg of you to pray and ask the Holy Spirit to guide you in what needs to change in your life. This person bothered me. It allowed the devil to etch in my mind, are you causing one to stumble? So to combat that, I had to get into the word of God and see what He says. The first scripture of many was Proverbs 12:1- Whoever loves instruction loves knowledge, but he who hates correction is stupid. Not my words but Gods. The reason they were questioning their walk with Christ, was one to get me more in tuned with the word and to correct anything they needed to correct. And no it doesn't mean they were wrong, God just needed some fine tuning in them and as you can see in me. God is correcting me and showing me, this is the number one reason that we need to be with true believers of Jesus Christ. We help each other, we grow in the Word of God with each other. He then led me to Hebrews 12:11- Now no chastening seems to be joyful for the present, but painful; nevertheless, afterward it yields the peaceable fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it. Now see God is training this person and training me. And we will grow in Christ together. And how do I know that it is God because first it was just Scripture that made this person question. Just the reading of the word. And God tells us who trains us in 2 Timothy 3:16-17- All Scripture is given by the inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work. See when we are trained by God, we walk like Jesus, and the Holy Spirit is our guide throughout our lives. We will be equipped for everything that comes against us and for the work that God has started in you. So let's grow in Christ together and pick up our fellow brothers and sisters along the way. Have a blessed day and rise up children of God, rise up.
