Common Savior

Good morning brothers and sisters. I just want to put up a warning for this post. This post will be political but not as some of you will see it. I want to first by saying, I am not a Republican, I am not a Democrat, I am not Libertarian. I AM A CHILD OF GOD! The last statement is who I am. We really do have a great nation that was founded on God's standards. It is not a perfect nation but it still was great. It does have a history. It does have a past. But for a long time now, we as children of the Most High have laid down our swords and just sailed along. I am asking you to lay down your political party because it is not who you are. I am asking you to pick up your sword and get suited up with the armor of God. We keep looking for these mighty men and women up in a big White House to save us, to change the way things are headed. But I hate to be the bearer of bad news, they can't save us. They have their own agendas. Now I am not saying that everyone up there is bad but not everyone of them is good and that goes for both sides of the isle. We as children of God need to show them how its done. We lay down our political party and side with the Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior party. Then we reach across the aisle and take up the good fight. Today's scripture comes from Jude 1:3-4.3- Beloved, while I was very diligent to write to you concerning our common salvation. I found it necessary to write to you exhorting you to contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all delivered to the saints. 4- For certain men have crept in unnoticed, who long ago were marked out for this condemnation, ungodly men, who turn the grace of our God into lewdness and deny the only Lord God and our Lord Jesus Christ. God knew who would be for Him and who would not. We do not. Lets pray. The one thing that I do know for certain is the evil can not have us coming together. The devil only wants to kill, steal and destroy. God wants unity, reconciliation and love. When we lay down these political parties and take up the sword of Jesus Christ, we will unite and God will bring reconciliation. Stop yelling and start talking. God gave us two ears and one mouth. We are to listen as to why one would believe what they believe. We need to speak only when the Holy Spirit commands us. We as children of God were made for a time such as this. Will you rise up and lay down the things that are not of God and reach across the isle to your brother and sister and stand together against the evil that has come upon our land? Have a blessed day!
