Clean up the dead
Good morning brothers and sisters. As I cleaning up around and bringing the dead back to life, I think on my soul. I was cleaning the yard and getting up all the dead leaves and as I start to remove them, I notice growth under them. But I could not see the growth because of all the dead laying on top of it. It took my heart just a moment to realize that was me. I was the new growth under all the dead. The trees had shed what it didn't need anymore and let it fall to the ground. The tree knows what it doesn't need to survive. The tree waits on the Lord to provide what it needs. But I don't shed what I don't need anymore, I keep on carrying it. I let the worries and fears of physical life weigh me down. And then God gently reminds me in 1 Peter 5:6-7: Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you. I have to clean up the dead and remove it so the new growth can occur. God does not want me under the weight of all the dead that He has removed but I allow to just pile up like the leaves on the ground. Brothers and sisters, clean up the dead so the new growth can come alive. Have a blessed day and rise up child of God, rise up!
