Are you a sinner or saint?

Good morning brothers and sisters. The title is a question we all get asked or we ask ourselves. Are we a sinner or saint? Well lets get into it. All human beings ever born or will ever be born are sinners. We are born into sin. We get to exclude Adam and Eve. They were not born like we are. They were created. Genesis 1:26-27- Then God said, "Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth." So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created Him, male and female. He created them. They were created without sin. Well until you know, they disobeyed God. They did what He commanded them not to do. Thus, sin enters into the world. So all humans are born into sin, then as we grow we allow sin to take over our lives. We disobey God. But not all sinners are saints. But you are not born a saint. Romans 3:23- for all has sinned and all short of the glory of God,. But God being the awesome and wonderful God, did not want to be separated from us forever. He sent Jesus to pave the way. It took a long time from the beginning to the time of Jesus. God's patience. That is a whole lot of sinning and corruption on the world. But before He sent Jesus, He tried to redeem it with the flood. But we had our eyes set on sinning. No one realizes how powerful sinning can have on ones life. It is in our DNA. Like I said we are born into it. When you accept Jesus on faith in your life and you follow Him, then you become a saint. Saints do sin but are more highly aware of the sin in their life than sinners. We reflect the nature of God in our lives. Acts 17:28- for in Him we live and move and have our being, as also some of your own poets have said, "For we are also His offspring." There is no amount of work we can do to earn sainthood. We are called saints because of faith in Jesus and we do His calling. So we must act like saints. 1 Peter 1:15-16- but as He who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct, because it is written, Be holy for I am holy. When we accept and live the life that Jesus calls us to, He equips us with everything we need to fight this ole flesh and our sin. What a wonderful promise. So are you a sinner, saint or both?
