Ain't that the truth

Good morning brothers and sisters. Last night we had Bible Study and what a glorious evening. You know I am terrified to lead Bible Study. I am terrified of teaching God's word. If I have to be honest that is my greatest fear. You know why? Not because of any other reason than- am I hearing God correctly? Am I teaching God's WHOLE word and not just the parts that I want to hear or the people wants to hear? Anyone can teach. BUT!!! If you are not teaching God's whole word, then you can teach someone right straight to hell. And that my friends, terrifies me. I never want to get God's word wrong. This morning He, being loving and kind, reassures me with His word. Proverbs 12:1- Whoever loves instruction loves knowledge, but he who hates correction is stupid. As I have grown in Christ, I am not afraid of being wrong. I am not afraid of correction. It is because I stay in constant communication with the Lord and stay in His word that He is able to correct me. He tells me in His word that He will be my teacher. John 14:26- But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you. We are not alone. If you let Him, He will teach you what His word says. He will guide you. He will correct you. And if you truly listen, He will keep you from sinning. Believe me I know! Rise up child of God, rise up!
